Hey reader,

As it’s said, “All’s well that ends well!” , so is true about this year. The year must have been a bit tough for a few people while amazing for others. Few of us must have lost our closed ones and others might have got new people in their lives. Let’s think of this quote again, and I’m writing it again so that this time, you give extra attention to each of the words: All’s well that ends well! Felt something? All I want is for you to come out of all the anxiousness and depressed emotions and stay in the present while reading ahead this blog.

“If you’re depressed, you are thinking about the past. If you are anxious, you are thinking about the future. If you are at peace you are living in the moment.”
Lao Tzu

Few words are very powerful, but unfortunately, we somehow fail to understand them and their importance in our life. One of these words, as you would have understood with the Blog Title, is THANK YOU.

“Thank You” is not just an ordinary word, it’s an emotion as well: the beautiful feeling which the person who is being thanked and the person who is thankful, both experience. If you are thankful to someone by heart, and you express your gratitude to them, you will definitely experience a great bond being formed with that person.

“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”
Albert Schweitzer

I believe, there is no better way to end 2018 than by thanking the people who made this year a memorable one. I know, that charity begins at home, so in this blog, I will be sharing my personal stories and the people who made my 2018, definitely one of the best ones.

Family: First and foremost, I am grateful to be born in this very amazing family. My dad who doesn’t miss out in those daily tiny acts of greatness, be it our Lunch-Packing, dropping us to work, cooking special delicacies, and what not. My mom who doesn’t miss out to be active on social media and yet successfully completes all her duties. Last but definitely not the least, my sister, who knows just one thing, to live in the moment. These are my tripod, who no matter what I do, will always be holding me up.

Life Changing Book: Thankfully, I did at least one good thing in 2017. I read this book titled “Who says you can’t, you do” and since then, my life has transformed completely. It’s obviously not perfect as perfection is nothing but a journey. One of the things I learned is, if you want to do something then you have got to stop dreaming and start doing. This year, I got my hands dirty with Blogs Writing, Poetry, More Music Recordings, More Music Participations, and Photography.

Best Friend: Well honestly, I don’t know when did Ayushi become such a close friend. I still wonder amidst all those daily fights and humiliations, how did this deep understanding establish. In all of the times, this person has always been there to understand me and hopefully, she’ll be there in future too. Regular readers would know that she is now the Editor of my blogs too.

Mentor: I never knew that I’ll find the mentor I have always been looking for at my workplace. Samuel Joseph has been my Guruji (the Sensei) for over a year now, and it’s really a lot that one could learn from him and definitely earn amazing memories and appreciation in their life. One quote that he regularly iterates ‘United we stand… Divided we fall’, is now carved in my mind. Thank you, Guruji!

Friends: Well this list is quite long, but a few people do stand apart everywhere. Sakshi (The mountain at the beach), Akshay Babbar (Bhai aka Brother from another mother), Divya (the awesome person), Prabhu (the duplicate God, yet most supportive) and Deepanshi (the bro) – you guys are amazing. Thanks for being there and reading my blogs forcefully (LOL).

Backing Army: There are some people who have always supported me, acknowledged all my efforts, and have my back in each of the new mountains I dream to conquer. They have sort of read each and every blog and poem, listened/watched every music record, checked out every single new click, and what not. Thank you, Pranshu, Prateek Bhattacharjee, Sweta di, Karan, Prateek, Ishita, Aashima, Himanshu (Apologies if I missed out anyone), without you all, it would have been tough.

Guavus: The company I work for, and especially my team: Uttam Sir, Sam, Himanshu, Vikas, Shivam, and Mukesh. You really make my work a lot easier.

I know this is going longer but I’m thankful to so many people in life that this one blog is not sufficient. I believe that we should always learn from all the good or bad people we meet and all the good or bad memories we create. And once we start learning from everything, we are going to be more and more thankful.

“If you truly get in touch with a piece of carrot, you get in touch with the soil, the rain, the sunshine. You get in touch with Mother Earth and eating in such a way, you feel in touch with true life, your roots, and that is meditation. If we chew every morsel of our food in that way we become grateful and when you are grateful, you are happy.”
Thich Nhat Hanh

I won’t give it as a task, but you may try this out. Go to people who made this year memorable. Express your gratitude towards them. See how it makes you and them happy. Experience those smiles in the tiny beautiful and memorable moments and Bid Adieu to this year 2018, because…

All’s well that ends well…

Wish you, your family and your loved ones Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. See you in 2019!

Thank You!
