Hey reader,
It’s 22nd of July, and we are in that season in which we just get irritated, the monsoon. We love it so much when it rains beautifully, and hate it when it goes humid after rain with innumerable problems like water logging, traffic jams, etc. The only solution we get in the midst of it is, let it go.
So is in our lives, we are going through the phases, the best of the times, say in career, and at the same time, having the worst of the time, say in friendship/relationship. We are loving that time and on the other hand, want to forget it. We want it to be like that for all that goodness, we want to live each and every moment of it, and at the same time, want it to never happen again. What should we do? Enjoy it? Embrace it? Forget it? Skip it? Confusing, isn’t it?
George Carman
Based on the life experiences I have had, there is one thing which is very clear. Life will never have only one face. It will always be like a sheet of paper, or you can say a coin. No matter what you do, it will always have two sides – a good and a bad.
There will be times, you would be succeeding in all your exams and at every step of your career..
There will be times, you would be getting more than expected bonus, early promotions, recognitions.
There will be times, you would be living your dream moments.
There will be times, you would be travelling to your dream locations.
And then, at the same time,
There will be times, you will feel too down and low and so alone.
There will be times, you will be losing friends.
There will be times, you will have failed relationship.
There will be times, you will look for help from someone and you won’t get it at all.
But, whatever happens, it will not be THE END.
My friend taught me one thing very well, if someone is meant to be in your life, they will remain, no matter what! Another thing that I implied from this is, the events – success/failures you have to see in your life, you will face them, no matter what! So just let all the grudges, misunderstandings, forced friendships/relationships and gazillion thoughts and questions go, simply let them go.
We all have seen some people in our lives, who are the prime examples of letting go.
I want to talk about my two college friends who step out from the rest, let it go the mainstream careers, and went out into their own endeavours.
One of them, is a very talented musician, so dedicated to his passion that he explored his own path to progress into music production. Today, when I see him, travelling and doing what he really loves, it really feels great and motivating that how one can create and explore their own career path. I wish him my best wishes for his career.
The second one, this one is also a good musician, but he didn’t go into that field. He went to corporate world, spent some time and left. He tried may be everything from public sector jobs preparations, MBA preparations, etc. and then just let it go all of them. He just went out to cover distances, without money. And now, he just picks up his backpack, camera and mobile and just goes off into his own exploration, without money!
They have chosen their path, and you can’t expect a 9-5 job from them. But, I still won’t say that each of us should do this. We should listen to our guts.

What’s your thought about it?
