Hey reader,

It’s 24th of January, waking up to a beautiful day and looking at the incomplete conversation left last night with a wonderful person, well thats enough for my mind to kickstart the day and probably where I will finally shutter-up this place.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”
Lao Tzu

Hello and welcome to this place where I will be sharing some of my life experiences, learnings, may be some tricks to be stronger with life and some conversations with the mango people and their problems.

Now, you might think that how can an incomplete conversation be a kick-starter? Well, I believe incomplete conversations are the best source for future conversations and you don’t need to find new topics everyday, and a day starting with talking to an amazing person, well it’s a kickstart for my day! Just try it out, it might work out for you too.

Basically, we live in the world where there are endless problems, infinite expectations and millions of dreams, so how do you gonna start your day? Inactive, lethargically stretching for a cup of coffee or waking up hyperactive, full of excitement to learn something new and face the world full of opportunities? I believe now you know the importance of kickstart in the morning!

The world has always been same, the trees, the water and so do the people and their problems. One thing quite common to all of us is we all have problems. Whether it be a billionaire, a millionaire, an Oxford student or an IIT student, a waiter in your favourite lounge or the janitor. We all have problems, everyday a new one, but what we forget or ignore is we all are solving them as well, in fact not only ours but of others too. So just pat your back first, you doing great job! Then why is the anxiety, disappointment, fear of failure, violence and hate rising? Why do we sometimes feel that we shouldn’t exist at all or feel so down that “even the floor feels like ceiling”! Do we understand ourself? Do we understand people around us? Do we understand our life?

This is what I will be talking about in this blog. Understanding Life!

“If you have one smile in you, give it to the people you love.”
Maya Angelou

We come across a wide range of people everyday, from the time we were born to the present, from the time we start our day to the time we go to bed, an enormous range of people. But we don’t connect with everyone. We don’t talk to all of them. We don’t care about each one of them. We all have a set of people we only deal with. A superset comprising of subsets like Family, Colleagues, Friends, Loved Ones and the rest whole world in the subset Strangers. And surprisingly, whatever we do, we are affecting all of those sets, good or bad anything.
We connect with some people so much that they are just irreplaceable, this is Family. So never forget to give a smile, love and care to them. Then comes the people we share our experiences with and with whom we spend our most of the day’s time with – the Friends and the Colleagues. And then comes the one called Loved Ones, the ones with whom we feel special and infinite. And last but not the least Strangers, of which all the other sets were once a part of.

The one important thing we must understand is nothing is permanent. The people you think are your best friends, the people you think are the best thing that can happen to you, everything is temporary and that’s my experience. I remember what I read in some book that even the most fundamental part of life – cell, in our body, never remains the same and keeps changing then how can you expect the people around you to be the constant to you?

“Girls and guys are like a bus stop – they come and go. You never know, like, who’s going to be the right one and what I’ve been taught is you really gotta figure out who you are first before you can really give yourself to someone else.”
Daren Kagasoff

So, what I have figured out and is helping me everyday is, know yourself. There’s something I would like to ask you to do in real, I can’t make you do but you should try this once.
  • Take a sheet of paper and pen (and not the phone), now start writing what type of a person you are, write a character sketch of yourself and be loyal but write any anonymous name and not yours. Write all your likes and dislikes in food, dress, places, movies, songs, everything. Just open your mind and fill the sheets. If you end up in one paper, start over because it’s not done yet.
  • Now read it.
We gonna meet in next blog hoping that you do this task.
Cheers.
